Dental Implants
Implants are a permanent restorative option for replacing missing teeth. A three dimensional x-ray (CBCT) will need to be taken to measure the amount of bone in the area first. The implant is placed directly in the jaw under local anesthesia. About four months later, once the implant has integrated into the surrounding bone structure, it is ready to receive the crown.
Grafts
Dr. Cheng provides gum grafting procedures to cover up exposed root surfaces of teeth, and also gingival recontouring to enhance the overall smile. Dr. Cheng also places bone grafts at the time of extraction for a healthier future implant site.
