Removable partial dentures are used to replace multiple missing teeth. They can be anchored onto existing dentition and taken in and out of the mouth. Partial dentures are made of a pink (gum-tissue colored) acrylic material, plastic teeth and a metal framework. There is also a resin-based partial material option called “Valplast,” which is metal-free and more aesthetic.
Complete dentures are made of the same acrylic material as partial dentures and are made for a person who has no teeth.
