In-House Bleaching

Dr. Katie Joyce offers a unique in-house bleaching treatment that is tailored to each patient's individual needs. First, a consultation is scheduled so that Dr. Joyce can assess the patient's teeth and determine the best course of action. Then, the patient's teeth are cleaned and prepped for bleaching. Once the bleaching gel is applied, Dr. Joyce uses a special light to accelerate the whitening process.

The entire treatment takes about an hour and a half.

You'll have the opportunity to get any superficial stains removed from your teeth, impressions made for take-home bleach trays when you can't make it in to Dr. Joyce's office.

Zoom! is the only whitening formula with the power of three:

ACP (amorphous Calcium Phosphate)
Potassium nitrate
Fluoride

Zoom! is made by Philips Oral Healthcare, the makers of Sonicare, and a name we trust.

The LED accelerator light helps activate the 25% hydrogen peroxide gel that is applied to your teeth. A mouth retractor is used to keep your lips and soft tissues out of the way. A liquid dam is applied to protect your gums from the bleaching gel.

The trays and whitening kit will be given to you to continue to whiten your smile even more at home at your own pace. It is recommended that you apply the 14% Hydrogen peroxide gel for 15 minutes twice a day for 2 weeks.

If there is any sensitivity you can apply the Relief ACP gel for 10-30 minutes in your custom trays post-bleaching.

Take-Home Whitening

You will be given 1 Relief ACP gel, and 5 syringes of 14% Hydrogen peroxide bleach. Your trays can be stored in a Zoom! Case and cleaned with simply a toothbrush and water.
